This oud oil is a traditional Indian oud that embodies all the key characteristics and nuances one expects from high-quality Indian agarwood.

It is less sharp and more buttery (soft, creamy, and warm) compared to Nagaland oud.

This oil was produced using the finest quality wood sourced from the West Jaintia Hills forests in Meghalaya, a region known for its rich natural resources—particularly its agarwood trees that thrive in cool, humid environments, which greatly enhance the quality of the wood used in distillation.

This is a 100% pure and natural first-batch distillation, undiluted and unblended with any chemical or natural additives to the best of our knowledge.

While the wood used came from cultivated forests rather than wild sources, the oil was brought directly from the manufacturer to our valued clients without any middlemen.

Production Year: January 2023. The trees used were approximately 55 years old, and the wood was soaked in water for 4–5 days prior to distillation. With a moderate viscosity and a dark brown to nearly black color, this oil offers an elegant, balanced expression of Meghalaya’s aromatic heritage.

Country of Origin: India (West Jaintia Hills – Meghalaya).
